Talibro.com is an online accounting software for SMBs (as positioned in their website and also recommended by us) is the most recent of Accounting SaaS we have reviewed so far.
Honestly, we have seen lots of entrants doing weird accounting apps, but our stereotype has been shattered when reviewing the software.
It is a new accounting application, with old school (most appropriate and simplest) approach to accounting and comes with the right maneuverability for small and medium businesses for almost $20/month subscription proved very easy to operate.

Brightpearl
Brightpearl is an Online Accounting Software with built-in CRM functionality for relatively well performing retail/wholesales businesses and comes with a lot of features. Yet, stuffed with various functions, Brightpearl proved inflexible when it comes to editing data/ past transactions.
There are also gaps in the workflow, which do not serve for better user experience, and critical bugs

e-conomic is an accounting software for SMEs but comes with major turn-offs and relatively expensive fees. e-conomic has a lot to re-organize and is definitely not an option for small businesses, as even professional accountants need to be re-educated to cope with simple bookkeeping. WorkingPoint is an online accounting software for small businesses that don't deal with VAT or GST. Unlike the SaaS applications we have reviewed so far, WorkingPoint offers built-in inventory management, which is still immature and has too many drawbacks.
