AccountsPortal is an online accounting software for small businesses, which we reviewed based on screenshots, “accountant” reviews, as the system was a total failure, logging us out after every click. Just like in Brainiac, “We did it so you don’t have to”.


Getting Started to Ending

AccountsPortal offers 5-step company setup – very intuitive.
However AccountsPortal has serious problems with “sessions”, as every link we clicked we were logged out and redirected to login page.
Even after completing getting started, clicking any other link was promoting  their”Login” section. Of course it looks awesome, but if you excuse my French, “What the f…”.
We  could not create anything. Only googling and reading their reviews by “accountants” who don’t mind wasting time with multiple logging in and finding all possible screenshots we learned, that creating sales invoices is a two step process like in Crunch and FreeAgent. It has no inventory management, user roles and permissions are preset and very limited.
Why did we review it after all?
Any small business searching for a cloud accounting solution would more likely search for “online accounting software for small businesses”, and this is where AccountsPortal gets a nice ranking.
